From Yelp:
I had walked by several times and admired the decor. I have always felt that attention to details was a trait not easily turned off. If the owner had hand picked the vintage radio and selected the retro wood walls with metal trimming, certainly he employed the highest caliber of professional. I was not disappointed.
First the call. Appointment in an hour? No problem.
Second the greet. Name? Thanks, it will be just a couple minutes, help yourself to a beverage.
So far so good.
Third the barber. “Hi im Jessica, pleased to meet you.”
Well spoken, natural conversation and a fantastic cut. The movements had a gentleness about them that bordered on massage. She worked quickly and efficiently but never seemed hurried, in fact it was the most relaxing cut I have ever had. I had guessed I was in the right place from the moment she draped the apron over me. The linen that was around my neck was soft and comfortable. It boggles my mind how every other barber in my life has missed this detail. Who wants to sit in a chair for an hour with a scratchy paper napkin irritating their neck?
The final touch was the price. When I had first sat down I explained that my last cut took too much off… way too much. So the plan was to just clean up the sides and let the top grow for a while. Some cutting had to be done though to reshape how the hair lay. She could have asked me for the $40 for a full cut and I wouldn’t have said a word, though deep down I would have been disappointed. But no, she came through and called it a cleanup. And just as I was putting on my coat she handed me her card. She will definitely see me again.
